Selling rules
Last updated 9 October 2026
Short version: sell what you actually have, describe it as it actually is, and photograph the real item. The rest of this page is what that means in practice, and what happens when a listing breaks it.
Counterfeits and proxies
A counterfeit is any card or sealed product made to pass as something it is not. Proxies are home-made or third-party copies, however they are printed.
- Never list a counterfeit as genuine. There is no grey area here, and no price low enough to make it acceptable.
- Proxies may not be listed at all, even when labelled as proxies. This is a marketplace for real cards.
- If you suspect something you own is fake, do not list it. Ask in the chat or write to us first.
Sealed and resealed product
“Sealed” means factory sealed and never opened. Weighing, searching and resealing packs is fraud, and it is the single most common scam in this hobby.
- Do not list a pack, box or case as sealed if it has been opened, weighed or searched.
- If the wrap is damaged, replaced, or you are not certain of the product’s history, say so plainly in the description and price it accordingly.
- Photograph the seams and the wrap itself, not just the front of the box. Buyers look for this, and it protects you as much as them.
Graded slabs
- The grading company and grade on the listing must match the label on the slab.
- Show the label and the certification number in a photo. Cropping out the number is treated as hiding it.
- Never list a cracked, tampered or counterfeit slab, or a slab with a swapped card.
Misleading listings
A listing is misleading, even when every individual word is true, if it leaves the wrong impression.
- Photos must be of the actual item. Stock images, images taken from other listings, and photos of a different copy are not allowed. If you must show a sample, say so in the first line of the description.
- Condition must be honest. Whitening, scratches, dents, creases, print lines and off-centring belong in the description and in a photo.
- The title must describe what is for sale. Do not list a single card under a box’s name, and do not pad the title with sets or cards you are not selling.
- The price must be the price. No bait prices for an item you will not sell at that figure, and no fees revealed only in chat.
- Quantity must be real. Mark a listing sold once it is gone rather than leaving it up for attention.
What happens when a listing breaks these rules
- Taken down. Staff can remove a listing at any time. You will still see it on your own profile, but you cannot edit or republish it.
- Suspended. A seller may be suspended for a period. Their listings come off the site and they cannot post, message or sign in until it is lifted.
- Banned. Counterfeits, resealed product and scams usually mean a permanent ban on the first offence. Mistakes in good faith usually do not.
Reporting
Every listing and every seller has a Report button. Reports go to staff only and the person reported is never told who reported them. Tell us what you saw — a specific detail, such as a mismatched certification number or a photo you have seen elsewhere, is far more useful than “this looks fake”.
A word on buying
Stocked is not a party to any sale and does not hold payments. Meet in a public place, check the item before you pay, and be careful with anything priced far below the going rate. If a deal has gone wrong, report it — we cannot recover your money, but we can stop it happening to the next person.
These rules sit alongside the Terms & Conditions. If something here is unclear, ask us before listing.
